Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees and greasing the pan you plan on using.
- Next, mush your bananas in a bowl until they are as smooth as possible.
- After the bananas are mushed up, add all your other ingredients from the list to the right. I usually start with the flour and then add the rest, saving the baking powder for last because it likes to bubble.
- If you would like to make your banana bread egg-free, you can substitute 1/4 cup of applesauce for each egg.
- A couple of optional ingredients you can add for variation are walnuts or chocolate chips. If you are adding these ingredients, add them once you are done mixing the other ingredients.
- Pour the mixture into the pan and gently drop it a few times on the counter to let the air bubbles come to the surface. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top (optional) and put it in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the middle.
